AARP has established the AARP Annuity Trust to hold group annuity contracts for the benefit of AARP members. AARP and its affiliates receive from New York Life Insurance and Annuity Corporation (NYLIAC) payments for AARP’s license of its intellectual property for use by NYLIAC in connection with the AARP Lifetime Income Program. These amounts paid by NYLIAC are used for the general purposes of the Association and its members.
